What's The Senedd?
The Senedd is the Welsh government. Its powers cover everything except the "reserved powers" such as Defence, Foreign Affairs and higher level taxation. Most of the day to day stuff in your life comes via the Senedd.
When Is the Election?
The election is to be held on Thursday 7th May 2026. It's held under a complicated proportional representation system under which the voter choses the party and a mathematical formula selects who the representatives will be. Your vote is vital.
Who Can Vote?
